Froggles the friendly monster

Our Story

A book, a camper, and a family on a mission to spread a little more kindness in the world.

About the author

R. Michelle Webb, author of Froggles finds his happy

I'm Michelle Webb — a single mom, a children's author, storyteller, and passionate advocate for helping children grow into kind, confident, and emotionally healthy humans.

Inspired by Emi, my daughter who passed away in 2022, I created Froggles to encourage meaningful conversations about friendship, empathy, courage, and embracing what makes each of us unique. Through interactive readings filled with laughter, imagination, and heart, I hope every child leaves believing they matter exactly as they are.

When I'm not writing, I can usually be found exploring nature, traveling with my children, paddleboarding, camping beneath the stars, or dreaming up the next Froggles adventure.

In October, my kiddos and I are traveling across the country on the Froggles Road Tour, visiting schools, bookstores, coffee shops, and homeschool communities to share stories that spark curiosity, kindness, and connection.

I believe that books have the power to change lives—and sometimes all it takes is one story to help a child feel seen.

I can't wait to meet you and your little readers!

The road tour

This school year, my children and I are buying a camper and taking Froggles on the road. We'll read at schools, homeschool co-ops, and libraries, sign books at coffee shops and bookshops, and meet families across the country. It's part adventure, part mission — and entirely a labor of love.

Every stop is a chance to share a story about kindness, and to raise dreams for children like Emi through A Million Dreams for Emi.
